I am the mom of four humans bravely navigating their lives through brain cancer remission, autism, bipolar disorder, and social anxiety. My children have taught me to find the blessings in life's challenges. My family and friends accept me-faults and all, and they inspire me to be brave.
My artistic style is hyperrealism with just enough quirkiness to keep it interesting. I strive to portray the emotion of the subject, the feelings behind the features.
Honest and imperfect people are my people. We interrupt. We get loud. We laugh. We curse. We elbow each other and talk over each other. This is also the way that I like to write. If you've never conversed with someone drowning in ADHD,
prepare yourself.
My stories never follow a straight line, but they are always entertaining.
So, sit back, relax, and try to keep up.
